Corrections Policy
We get things wrong sometimes. Here's what we do about it.
Answer Atlas is committed to accuracy. Despite our best efforts to research and verify every answer we publish, errors can occur. When they do, we want to know - and we fix them promptly.
What counts as a correctable error
We review correction requests for:
-
Factual inaccuracies - incorrect data, dates, statistics, or scientific claims
-
Outdated information - content that was accurate when published but is no longer current
-
Misleading framing - content that is technically accurate but presented in a way that creates a false impression
-
Broken or incorrect source citations
We do not consider matters of editorial judgment, writing style, or differences of opinion to be errors requiring correction.
How to submit a correction
Email us at [email protected] with the following:
-
The URL of the page containing the error
-
A description of the specific error
-
Your suggested correction and any supporting sources if available
We review all correction requests and aim to respond within 5 business days.
What happens after you submit
Every correction request is reviewed by our editorial team. If we confirm the error we will update the content promptly and note the correction at the bottom of the relevant page. If we determine the content is accurate as written we will explain our reasoning in our response to you.
We do not delete corrections notices - if a significant error was made and corrected, we acknowledge it transparently.
Thank you
Readers who take the time to point out errors make Answer Atlas more accurate for everyone. We genuinely appreciate it.
